Alma Bella Academy is our Small Business Spotlight for January! Debi Graves first opened her doors in July 2021, assisting many children with their schoolwork and providing a creative place for both kids and adults.
Debi is a teacher who recognized the needs of children who are struggling as a result of post-pandemic changes. She believed that these children deserved more homework assistance as well as a creative environment in which to spend their time.
Move VA Team invited Alma Bella to plan our Ladies Night event last November. We had an amazing night creating a winter themed art project, chatting, and enjoying various wines. It was a fantastic evening.
Alma Bella Academy aims to assist students with academic, social, and emotional problems, as well as to improve their feeling of self-worth and independence. It aspires to be a pioneer in the provision of exceptional educational services that nourish the full person.
Alma Bella Academy offers a variety of courses for children, including pottery, sewing, painting, crafts, CPR certification, basic car care, woodworking, culinary arts, horticulture, and yoga. And it is not just for kids. The academy also helps adults connect through Pottery, Sewing, Painting, Private Parties, and Wine & Beer. Debi believes it is time to reconnect with family and friends after more than a year apart due to the pandemic.
