Jordan has always been an animal lover but the idea of breeding never crossed her mind until she met her mother-in-law who breeds Golden Doodles, Bernedoodles and Sheepadoodles. At the time, Jordan was in the navy and had plans to retire with the Navy, so she put her dreams of breeding on hold while helping her mother-in-law on her off time. But sometimes you make plans for your life and then life happens and all your plans change. That was definitely the case for her life. In 2014, she was very unexpectedly medically separated from the navy and her plans of retirement quickly came to an end.

At that point, she and her husband Scott decided to start a commercial electrical company. Scott is a master electrician and had always dreamed of one day starting his own company but couldn’t due to the sacrifices you have to make with a military lifestyle. Through the grace of God, their company quickly took off and after a few short years they decided the time had finally come where she could start her own breeding business.

With our electrical company doing well, it has given me the financial freedom to just focus on our dogs and breed as we see best fit for our dogs. As a breeder I can say that I don’t like most breeders and I find that there is a shortage of good breeders who put their dogs first rather than their pocket.

Black Creek Doodles pride themselves in making sure their dogs/puppies come first. The puppies are raised in their home along with their 3 young boys. Each puppy comes with a microchip and has a 2 year health guarantee. By the time you receive your puppy, they have been well socialized around children and because they are raised in their home, they also get to hear all the sounds of life that a home with young children has to offer. They are also litter box trained and are introduce to crate training so that by the time your baby comes home to you, they are already off to a great start.

For Jordan, it’s not just about breeding dogs but is also about the relationships being made with her adopting puppy families. They are there every step of the way and continue to be there for support well after adopting families have taken their puppy home.

COMING UP SOON: FROM THE OWNER

We are always trying to grow and better ourselves. With that being said we are going to be introducing cockapoos to our breeding program by the end of this year. We are also working on being certified dog trainers and hope to open up a puppy camp for our puppy families that want a little extra training for their newest addition. We are hoping to start offering puppy camp by 2023.

Another thing that we are working on and are extremely excited about is making organic and natural puppy treats. We hope to start debuting our treats in 2022. We are always getting asked about treats and food and with how harmful commercial dog products can be, we are thrilled about getting back to the basics and making natural and organic treats with REAL human grade food.
